Maddox will now begin interviewing for his NATIONAL placing in the coming weeks, and learn of his final placing at the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana this fall. Elementary Yearly Student Forms are now available on our District Website for the 2024-2025 school year. Yearly Student Forms must be completed and submitted electronically every year. Without these forms submitted, your student will be unable to participate in field trips and extracurricular activities. Please take advantage of this summer down time and beat the hustle and bustle of the new school year!

Congratulations to Addy Blazer and Andrew Ogilvie for earning an OHSAA scholar athlete award. They were awarded the scholarship at the Cleveland baseball game.
The striping finishes today on United Local’s new northbound and southbound turning lanes. We want to give a huge thank you to Hammond Construction and Mike Pusateri Excavating for all of their hard work.
Tomorrow, July 23rd, the Sunshine Bus will be returning to the United Local School District for a summer visit. They will be on site from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Share the word to families with children ages 3 through 18 living in Columbiana County.
Zebediah Snyder Memorial Scholarship Fundraiser is taking place today at the Marketplace located at Hanoverton Hardware from 10:00AM to 2:00PM today, July 20th. The New Garden Methodist Church will be donating 1/2 of the net proceeds from the hot dog stand.

United Local Schools will hold new student registration for the 2024-2025 school year on Tuesday, July 23rd and Wednesday, July 24th in our elementary office. Please enter the building using door #8. To make an appointment to register for one of these dates please call Ann Peters, EMIS Coordinator (All Grades), at 330-223-2831. Children who will be Five Years old on or before August 1st are eligible to attend kindergarten. Please follow the directions listed below to complete all of the necessary online documentation forms prior to your appointment time.
