The fifth grade spent the day learning what “enrolling” would look like after graduation whether that be a traditional college or university as well as trade and technical schools! We had guest speakers Dave Dees and Donald Bean from Kent State, Michelle Fitzsimmons from the CCCTC, our high school counselor Erica Noel, Samantha Muniz our elementary school counselor, and several high school students. They spent the day informing our fifth graders about what their options are and how to prepare for the possibility of enrolling! Students also spent time researching the New Castle School of Trades and Pittsburgh Technical College. We appreciate the time they took to talk with us today and all the goodies they brought!

Thank you to the Boys Basketball Team for helping with arrival today.

Happy 100th day of school from our amazing 1st graders in Mrs. Greenawalt's class!

We are blessed to have an amazing School Resource Officer at United Local Schools. Officer Tab Bailey works hard to keep all of our students and staff members safe. Officer Bailey also interacts with our students by reading to our younger students, participating in earning a whipped pie to the face, always being a friendly face in the building, and helping with arrival and dismissal. We are UNITED in our appreciation for all that you do!

100-year-old 2nd graders in Ms. Buckshaw's and Mrs. Phelps' room are researching Abraham Lincoln and George Washington. Groups will create biography posters about each and present to one another.

We received some great drone pictures on Thursday. It is amazing to see all of their progress! These photos show some more of our new high school really taking shape. A big thank you to Hammond Construction for the pictures!
