Students in Mrs. Greenawalt's class have been learning about solids, liquids, and gases. Today, they made jello and discussed how jello can be a solid or a liquid.
3rd grade students have been partnering with 6th grade to learn how we can care for the earth. Today Miss Wilmoth's class shared their research with Mrs. Tedeschi's class. Topics included the 3 Rs (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle), Water Pollution, and Bees. Students did a fantastic job!
Mrs. Grimm's class enjoyed sharing with Mrs. Markijohn's class how to protect the Earth. Students used their persuasive writing skills to create presentations about the importance of honey bees, recycling, and keeping our water clean.

United Local Schools was well represented today at the Columbiana County Spelling Bee by Caroline Moser, Brennan Ritchie, and Violet Terrill. Brennan made it to the top eight spellers, and Violet
made it to the top six. Great job to all 3 ladies. Way to go!
