Attention to our Kindergarten and First Grade Parents to an upcoming change in our academic schedule. The days are: January 18th, February 15th, March 29th, April 19th, and May 9th. This means that our students in Kindergarten and First Grade will NOT report to school on those days, but students in grades 2-12 WILL report as they usually would.

5th grade students in Mrs. Leitza’s literacy class are currently working on selling gingerbread houses based on their descriptive writing. Today, Austin Noel, a realtor from Salem, spoke with students about his job and how he uses descriptive language in his work every day. He shared several examples, answered questions, and even gave feedback to the students on their descriptions! It was a great learning experience for all!
