Ms. Buckshaw's students learned about how air moves things by using their own air to move different objects.

Ms. B's second graders are practicing measurement skills by measuring each other's standing long jump distances! Future track stars in the making?




Miss Wilmoth and Mrs. Grimm's classes are enjoying math games on this rainy Friday.




United Local would like to remind families that we will be on a scheduled two-hour late start tomorrow, March 15th. All transportation and classes will run two hours later than normal.
Second grade students learned about Pi Day today with the help of our building math guru, Mrs. McGaffick!

Mrs. Grimm's class is enjoying a review of fiction and nonfiction genres before moving into their traditional literature study.




Second graders are still working on writing lab reports! They are building and conducting their experiments together!



United Local Schools was well represented today at the Columbiana County Spelling Bee by Caroline Moser, Brennan Ritchie, and Violet Terrill. Brennan made it to the top eight spellers, and Violet
made it to the top six. Great job to all 3 ladies. Way to go!

The Smile Mobile Dentist visited United students this week! Look at those pearly whites!


United Preschool had a special visitor this afternoon. A 10 day old baby lamb came to see us thanks to Mrs. Sarah Swope! 🐑 We learned about early signs of spring like flowers and baby animals, and of course got to pet our cute new friend!
