2026 Prom Court

United's Prom will be held on April 25, 2026. The theme is Enchanted Forest. Tickets will remain on sale through Thursday, April 9, 2026, with the prom and after-prom permission slips being due at time of ticket purchase.

Reminder to United Local Parents and Students: United Local School District will not have school starting on April 3rd through April 6th. Students will resume school after Easter Break on April 7th. Staff will return to work on April 6th for a Staff In-Service Day.

United Local Schools held their National Honor Society Induction Ceremony on Wednesday, March 11, 2026. The students selected into National Honor Society demonstrated leadership, character, scholarship, and service to become a member of this prestigious society. The following students are the new inductees for the 2025-2026 school year. Congratulations to all the new inductees.

Congratulations to our very own Auston Brown on an incredible career representing United and finishing as a State Runner-Up in the OHSAA State Wrestling Tournament.! We are so proud of all you have accomplished. Way to represent the U! Blue and Gold proud.

School Resumes on March 23rd for staff and students

Yesterday our CCP Anatomy and Forensic Science students had an incredible opportunity at Cleveland State University, where they participated in a cadaver lab experience. This hands-on learning allowed students to explore human anatomy in a real-world setting and deepen their understanding of the concepts they study in the classroom.

Two United Local High School seniors signed to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level.

Kadin Schonauer will be playing baseball at Muskingum College, where he will major in Sports Management.

Tyler Wood will be playing football at Geneva College and plans to major in Criminal Justice.

We congratulate Kadin and Tyler on this exciting next chapter!

United Local Spaghetti Dinner Concert


This event will take place on Friday March 13th from 4:30-8:30 PM. Dinner will be served from 4:30-7:30 PM with music starting at 5:30 PM. The dinner/ concert will take place in the United Junior High School Gymnasium/ Cafeteria with performances from all bands grades 5-12. Tickets for this event will be available at the door for $10 Adults and $7 Students/Seniors. Parking is available in the new parking lot and entry will be through Door A.

Please come out and enjoy great music and food, while supporting the arts.

We are UNITED in our appreciation for all that you do! Bradley Horstman and Joseph Schreffler, thank you for all of the support that you give to our staff and students on a daily basis. Congratulations to Leighton Birmingham! She was voted the Girls OVAC 1A-3A Swimmer of the Year! Coach Kristen Reynolds presented her with the award last night at practice. We are all very proud of her dedication to her team and the sport of swim.

Due to a change in legislation, to be eligible for Kindergarten
your child must be five years old prior to the first day of school for the 2026-2027 school year, which will be September 8, 2026. United Local High School Academic Challenge Varsity and JV teams both finished first in their division this season in the Mahoning League. On Saturday 2/28, United Local Varsity tied for fifth place in the league tournament, which included 28 schools from all three divisions around Ohio. A team of six United Local students will travel to compete in the National Small Schools Tournament near Chicago in April.
