United FFA’s 2nd annual Career fair and expo was hosted last Thursday!
Grades 9-12 attended an assembly by Land-pro equipments area sales manager Erick, where he discussed preparing for the future and becoming assets to their future employers.
Over 40 local businesses exhibited career fair booths and visited with our students.
Seniors participated in Mock job Interviews that business professionals conducted to prepare students for future job interviews they may have!
FFA Officers created and conducted break out sessions on financial budgeting, networking, team building, dressing for success and career success breakout room!

Reminder to United Local Parents and Students: United Local School District will not have school starting on April 18th through April 21st. Students will resume school after Easter Break on April 22nd. Staff will return to work on April 21st for a Staff In-Service Day.

United Local will be having their 2025 Prom on Saturday, April 26, 2025 . The theme for Prom is "Wisteria Lane", which is sponsored by the Junior Class. The 2025 Prom Court picture is listed on this announcement. The Parade of Fashion starts at 5:00 p.m. in the H.S. Gym, and Spring Fling will follow afterwards at 7:00 - 9:00pm. At 7:00 p.m. the Prom attendees will leave for the Alliance Country Club for a dinner and dance, and then to Swing-N-Things for their After-prom.

United Local School National Honor Society welcomed 27 new members along with their 17 current senior NHS members at their Induction Ceremony. To qualify for NHS, students must meet certain academic criteria and demonstrate characteristics of the four pillars of NHS, which include: character, leadership, scholarship, and service. This group is led by advisor Mrs. Danielle Burch, a teacher at United Local Schools. Several senior NHS members participated in this ceremony with the lighting of candles to explain about the four pillars of National Honor Society.

United Band performed for our Veteran service men and women at the Southwestern Veteran's Center in Pittsburgh today. Thank you for sharing your talents with those who sacrificed so much for our country! Students also got to see behind the scenes at Acrisure Stadium, Duquesne Incline, and took a ride on the Gateway Clipper. Thank you for a great day of learning and performing!
Ccp biology students are participating in the Wolbachia project again this year with Dr. Heather Mercer. Students collected arthropods this past fall. Students took their bugs to the University of Mount Union to extract the DNA. Students will be checking to see if their arthropods contain the bacteria Wolbachia. We want to thank Dr. Mercer for this exciting laboratory experience.
