Dear United Community Members,
We understand the concerns regarding the recent speculation about the potential loss of our school's historical trophies. We want to assure you that every trophy was carefully photographed prior to the district’s pop-up sale and auction. These photographs serve as a digital archive, preserving the legacy and achievements of our students. Additionally coaches choose highly valued trophies that will remain in designated trophy cases.
Our commitment to honoring our history remains steadfast. Once we regain access to the competition gymnasium, we plan to create a dedicated display area for all our trophies, allowing students, alumni, and visitors to celebrate our rich heritage. Additionally, we have three display cases adjacent to the Middle School Gymnasium, which will showcase additional trophies and memorabilia.
We appreciate your patience and support as we work to preserve and honor our school's proud history.
Warm regards.
Lance Hostetler, Superintendent
United Local School District
