Chick quest continues! Today, one of the 4 2nd grade classes that hatched the chicks that the livestock class is using in their feed trials, visited the Ag. Room! First, 2nd graders watched a short clip how to properly handle the growing chicks! Then, they were paired up with a high school friend, to help them check for well-being, weigh the chicks and help record the data in spreadsheets for their experiments! The 2nd graders loved seeing their feathery friends that they hatched a few short weeks ago, and were all shocked how big they ready are! 🐥
