Dear Parent/Guardian, We are writing to inform you of a recent change in Google's policies regarding their non-core services, which Google refers to as "additional services." For many years, students have had access to Google's non-core services, such as Google Bookmarks, Chrome Web Store, Google Earth, Google Books, CS First, Google Maps, Google My Maps, Google News, Google Photos, Google Play, Google Translate, Looker Studio, Material Gallery, and YouTube as part of their educational experience. However, school administrators were recently notified by Google that parental consent will now be required for students to continue using these non-core services. Unfortunately, Google has given us a short deadline of March 1, 2025, to comply with this new requirement. This is a new policy from Google, and we are working quickly to ensure compliance while minimizing disruption to student learning. Please see the included opt-out form at https://5il.co/38wga if you DO NOT want your student to have access to Google's non-core services. However, we strongly encourage you to read the opt-out form in its entirety so that you understand what it means to allow your student to continue using these services. Parent(s)/legal guardian(s) who wish to stop their child from using Google's non-core must complete and return by February 28, 2025. If you would like more information regarding how Google uses this information, you can visit http://policies.google.com/privacy. You and your child can also visit http://myaccount.google.com while signed in to the Google Workspace for Education account to view and manage the personal information and settings of the account. United FFA Officers delivered some warmth to Minerva rehabilitation & Nursing center today as part of their #NationalFFAWeek community outreach project. 26 tie blankets were hand made with love by United Local FFA members over the past week. Chapter Officers delivered the blessings to all residents, shared stories and brought a smile to each of their faces this afternoon. 41 United FFA Members traveled to the Canton location of the Akron/Canton Food Bank Network today. Our students volunteered for 5 hours, packed 7,500 meals totaling more than 9,000 pounds of food for local senior citizens. This community service was part 1 of our #NationalFFAWeek commitment to give back! FFA isn’t just for farmers. It’s for EVERYONE!

96 active FFA members in our program keep records on over 130 projects year-round! Record keeping is an essential skill that everyone must learn and understand. These members are creating awesome projects ranging from keeping records on income from jobs, starting small businesses, or even doing agriscience projects to answer a scientific-related question to improve the agricultural industry! FFA is not just for farmers. It's for EVERYONE!

United Local School District will be on a two-hour delay today, February 18th. Additionally, there will be no morning pre-school.
