Over the last week 3rd grade students in Mrs. Spillman's literacy classes researched the history of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade and then planned, designed, and built their own 3D floats! Today they shared their finished floats with some of the younger students.

Last week, Mrs. Greenawalt's class celebrated World Kindness Week. Students "sprinkled" kindness all week long! Thank you White House Fruit Farms for making our creations come to life by baking donuts that matched the ones we colored. We enjoyed the special snack today.

Our 2nd graders are thankful! Here they are getting ready to "feast"!

Here are a few more drone pictures. These feature the new high school section from the back and side. Again, thank you Hammond Construction for providing these great shots.

Last week 4th graders had an awesome opportunity to listen to SHP architects Kyle and Ivan. They explained some of the things they do as part of their jobs and showed the student 3D simulation of the new school.

Students in grades K-5 celebrated Kindness week in STEAM. They started a "Kindness Boomerang." All students made a kindness stone with inspirational words and we gave the finished jar of stones to Mrs. Muniz to keep in her office to share with students when they need some extra kindness. Maybe the kindness will be returned to them!

We are UNITED in our appreciation for all that you do! A huge THANK You to our great substitute teachers for the support that they provide to our students and staff members. We appreciate all of their hard work, in continuing to help our students to learn when we need someone to step in to fill a spot. Happy Appreciation Day to our Substitute Teachers! Thanks to all the amazing substitute teachers out there!

We received some great drone pictures today. It is amazing to see the progress! We will continue to release some pictures in the next couple of days. These first few show the foundation of the new elementary, cafeteria, and competition gym area. A big thank you to Hammond Construction for the pictures!
