2 weeks ago, the Courtney family received devastating news that their daughter, Iris Courtney, a United middle school student, had been diagnosed with bone cancer. The Courtney’s would like to maintain the “I can and I will” attitude that this will be beaten. The Eagle community stand behind them 100%. Iris’s treatment will last 30 weeks at Akron children’s, where they will have to be away from home for 2-4 days at a time.
To help alleviate the burden of every day needs so that the family can focus on this battle, please consider donating a food or gas gift card. Cash donations are also excepted. United FFA students will be collecting these donations until next Friday May 24th. You may also leave your donations at Salem UPS store, or at Hanoverton Hardware. Please contact Mr. Gentry with questions!
