Bella's suggestion, Book Bucks, was selected by the middle school students as our new name for our book vending machine tokens. The 11 finalists each got a token for the machine and Bella got 2. Reminder to United Local Parents and Students: United Local School District will not have school starting on March 29th through April 2nd. Students will resume school after Easter Break on April 3rd. Staff will return to work on April 2nd for a Staff In-Service Day.

Plant & Animal science students are in full production! Students today harvested a combined 3.5 pounds of lettuce varieties! Salad mixes were made with the fresh produce and given to teachers. Hands on learning is learning students remember 🥬

Building Trades 1 students are working on outdoor furniture right now, just in time for spring cookouts and yard preparation. Logan Brewer has finished a picnic table, and Braydin Shafer has built a bench. They both did an awesome job!

We are proud of these Woods II students who built a table for the away concession stand. We were asked to build a table to hold 2 hot chocolate tubs, a coffee maker, bins of candy, and a trash can. This is what the students came up with. Now all it needs is a coat of paint. Nice work gentlemen!

ALUMNI BASKETBALL GAME - MARCH 22
The United Local Sophomore Class is sponsoring an alumni basketball game on Friday, March 22. Due to lack of interest, the women’s game has been cancelled. The 30 and over men’s game will begin at 7:00 and the under 30 men’s game will begin at 8:00. Cost to attend is $4 for adults and $2 for students. Concessions will be available. All proceeds will benefit the Sophomore Class.
