Nate Hall has earned his graduation seal in Engineering through certifications in Autodesk AutoCAD, Inventor, and Fusion. As a result of his pre-engineering expertise, he was able to design a bolt and nut that perfectly fit together using Fusion and his new 3-D Printer. Nate created a 3-D model in Fusion Solid Works and exported that file to the slicer program, which then allowed him to print the 3-D model in exact dimensions in real life. This use of these programs allows engineers to make quick, precise models of what they are creating. It also allows for quick changes and modifications as needed or desired for prototyping. Pretty Cool!

Congratulations to Keira Bryan! She is now certified as a Microsoft Office Specialist - PowerPoint Associate Microsoft 365 Apps! This is her second Microsoft certification this year. This certification adds 3 more points toward her graduation seal. Way to go, Keira!!!

DUAL CREDIT BIOLOGY STUDENTS VISIT MOUNT UNION
Students in the CCP Biology class were invited by Mrs. Heather Mercer to the University of Mount Union to do a study on bacterial endosymbiont Wolbachia pipientis. Mrs. Cooper's students first collected arthropods from soil samples they gathered at the nature trail at United. They took these arthropods to UMU to extract their DNA. Later this month Mrs. Mercer will bring laboratory equipment to United to finish the study where students will be able to observe the DNA samples. This is a great opportunity for our students. Thank you Mrs. Cooper & Mrs. Mercer!
