Students in Plant and Animal science have been working hard getting their hydroponic units up and going. Students began transferring germinated plants into the units from the germination cart. Plants are growing, students are learning! Stay tuned for progress! š± š§

Students in Mr. Gentry's Plant & Animal science class have completed their plant science semester. As a second semester project, students grouped up to answer a question about hydroponic plant growth. Hydroponics is the growth of plants without soil. Students are growing lettuce mixes, beans, cucumbers, dill, spinach, tomatoes and strawberries. They germinated their plants last week, and began setting up their growing systems today!
