Agricultural Proficiency Awards honor FFA members who, through supervised agricultural experiences, have developed specialized skills that they can apply toward their future careers.
Good luck at interviews on March 21st Maddox, we are all cheering for you‼️
A huge thank you to Farm Credit mid-America for celebrating the end of FFA Week with our junior and senior classes. They provided students with donuts, milk and apples from Wolffs orchard. Loan officer Denise Rhodes gave a career presentation to students, offered the programs Farm Credit has available to them and explained benefits of going into the Agricultural field .
Additionally, alumnus Landon Rhodes joined us and talked with students about his experience at The Ohio State University, reasons why agriculture is important and what lead him to his current choices.
👏🏼 thank you for spending time with our students, they greatly appreciate the information
Did you know this is the 40th anniversary of drive your tractor to school day?! Mr. Sam Farmer was the first United FFA member to drive a tractor in 1984. He joined the celebration this morning.
Agriculture is the root of our community. The display of tractors not only symbolizes the impact agriculture has on our school, but our community as well. There are 2,115 production agriculture operations in Columbiana county that produce $106,666,000 annually in valued products. Thats a huge economic impact! It was a great morning to recognize farmering, the future of farming and the young people rooted in the values agriculture embraces.
HAPPY NATIONAL FFA WEEK (ps. Check out the pedal tractor)‼️
