HEADS ABOVE THE REST! Congratulations to Nathan Marhefka who was 1 of 11 students recognized at the County Heads Above the Rest program yesterday. Each year, the Educational Service Center of Columbiana County honors students who have scored in the 97th percentile (top 3% in the country) on college admission tests (ACT/SAT). Each Heads Above the Rest honoree is then asked to choose and write about a teacher who made a significant impact on their educational career. These teachers receive the Star Educator award as part of the program. Nathan chose Mr. Jones, writing that his influence on him as a teacher and coach have helped to make him the person he is today. Well done, Nathan and Kudos to Mr. Jones!
